BASS Security has two pieces of [similar] news to share with you all today!

We want to get more involved with the community, so we will be setting up vendor booths at the ASU-Midsouth 5K and the Crawfordsville Fall Festival! (October 3 and October 10)

We will have some demos going on, a few giveaways, plus we will have some type of contest for customers and non customers to win a prize!

We still have a few months to plan the events, so we want YOUR help! Let us know what you would like to see at our booth! We will continue to update when we have more information about each event.

This is our first year to set up a booth at either of these events and we are so excited to show you all what BASS Security can do for your home or business.

Mark it on your calendar and come see us!

*Don't forget about our -Back To School- Facebook contest going on through the 14th of this month! Send in a picture of your child's first day of school outfit and we will select the cutest/coolest outfit! Winner will be announced August 17 via Facebook*

It's ALMOST that time of year!

The beginning of the school year and holiday season is right around the corner, whether we are willing to admit it or not. It sneaks up on all of us and our lives are always a little crazier because of it. So, how do you stay on top of everyone and everything? Let BASS Security help you!

With an alarm from BASS you can completely control the system through your cell phone, no matter where you are. You can give each of your family members personalized codes, so they will always remember it, and so you have peace of mind when you see that your little ones made it home from school safely.

Rushing out the door with 3 backpacks, 4 lunches, and coffee to go is a situation all too familiar to a working parent. Successfully getting out the door is an accomplishment of its own. Why should you worry about your alarm system? You shouldn't!

At BASS, we can program your alarm to text you when you forget to arm the system. And then, in the same moment you can select to arm the system, right where you are. Don't worry about your home security, that's our job!

Let BASS Security make your back to school routine a little less hectic, call us today for a free quote! (870) 735-1503. Or e-mail us at bsecurity@comcast.net

Testing Your Alarm System

Testing an alarm is a very simple process, however, most home and business owners simply forget or forgo the test altogether because they just don't realize how easy it is. If you have a home or business alarm and want to test your system, we are going to walk you through the steps.

*BEFORE you start these steps, make sure you know your password. If you are unsure of your password, call the office and we can give it to you, after you verify a phone number on the account.*

STEP 1: Make sure all windows and doors are shut. If you have children or pets, make sure they are not playing/moving in front of the motion detector. Go to the keypad, the READY light should be green. ARM the system by typing in your 4 digit code.

STEP 2: Go to a door or window that is INSTANT. (there is no delay time/the siren sounds instantly) Open that door/window and let the alarm go off for 45-60 seconds. Type in your code to disarm the system.

STEP 3: Wait for a phone call from the Central Monitoring Station. They will call the first number on the account. (We can tell you what number you have first on the account, if you call the office) When the Central Station calls, give them your password and tell them you were testing the system.

If you DO NOT receive a call from the CS call our office immediately so we can check your signals and set up a service call, if necessary, to fix any problems.

Testing the system is the only way to ensure that the alarm is working the way it is supposed to. We recommend that our customers test their systems once a month. If you have any questions or concerns about testing your system, please call the office. (870) 735-1503.

Have a great weekend!

We have an exciting announcement today!

BASS Security is going to be partnering with a local Elementary School (possibly more than one) and donating school supplies to teachers/students that don't have the funds to buy them. We are still working on which school(s) we will be supporting, but we will keep you informed when we have more information.

We are so excited to be able to give back to our community in this way! If you would like to donate any school items, feel free to do so. You may drop them off at the BASS Security office located at 315 N. 5th Street West Memphis, Ar.

Welcome!

We decided that we wanted to do something a little different at BASS Security and start a blog. We want our customers to be up to date on everything that is going on, not only in the alarm community, but in our local community as well.

We want you, our customers, to speak your mind about different concerns you have. We want to hear from you, first hand, different ways that we can improve as a business. We want you to feel safe in our community and we hope that our alarm systems can provide you with peace of mind. Even if you don't have an alarm system with us, we want to keep you informed about what is going on in your neighborhood.

We live in a community where it seems like "everybody knows everybody" but, you would be surprised to know how many people don't even know their neighbors name. Do you? If you left for a week would you feel safe informing your neighbor that you won't be home?

We, at BASS Security, want to know you by name. We want to check in with you on a regular basis, just to see how you are doing. We want our alarm systems to take away all of your home or business safety concerns.

If you read this post, please leave a comment and let us know some topics or relevant news that you would like to see us post about. If you have questions, concerns, or comments feel free to leave those as well or call us at the office. 8-5 Monday through Friday. (870) 735-1503.
